Our aims and policies

We aim to empower our patients with all of the information they require to enable them to make a valid informed decision as to the type of treatment and the end results they would like, at the same time providing the highest emphasis on oral health and the importance of preventative dentistry.

Why choose us?

Danesholme Dental Practice is an established family dental practice based in Corby for over 30 years.

New patients are always welcome, both adults and children alike. You can either register as a new patient or be seen on an emergency basis.

As a private dental practice we are able to offer you the gift of time:
  • Time to discuss your case
  • Time to identify the best treatment plan for you
  • Time to carry out treatment to your satisfaction and in a prompt manner
  • Time to discuss your requirements

Private dentists tend to offer longer appointment times than NHS dental services.
Longer appointment times mean we can get to discuss your case, your dental history, your concerns, your requirements and also what improvements or changes, if any, you would like to make in order to allow you to smile with greater confidence.
Time allows us to work in partnership with you in order to provide individually tailored dental care. This includes preventative oral health information, dental hygiene services and advise, and dental treatment. All of the aforesaid is given together with personal customer service.

Undoubtedly, private dentistry does cost more than NHS dentistry but the additional expense often reflects benefits such as those already discussed. It can be much more affordable than people may believe. In the long run, it can prove to be cheaper as emphasis is on prevention in order to prevent treatment.

Waiting times for appointments are kept to a minimum, which is not often the case with NHS dental services.
Appointments are generally available at times convenient to you.

On occasion, you may need to see an emergency dentist.
This may because of any of the following reasons:
  • You have toothache
  • You have broken a filling
  • You have broken a tooth
  • You have lost a filling
  • You have suffered trauma
  • You have an abscess
  • You have a swelling
  • You have had a crown come out
  • you have broken your denture

We can provide same day emergency dental appointments

With private dental care at Danesholme Dental Practice you will always receive a treatment plan, which will itemise each treatment with the estimate costing. This will enable you to check and fully understand what you are paying for and what your dental care will entail.

If you are a particularly nervous patient we welcome the opportunity to treat you. By managing your dental anxieties, fears or phobias, using a sensitive and caring approach, we hope to restore your confidence and smile.

In addition to offering general and preventative dentistry we can offer cosmetic dental treatment specific to your requirements. Dental implants, albeit something we do not offer, we can refer you to another practitioner.

All facilities are on ground floor level. We are readily accessible with disabled access, including a ramp for wheelchair users. There is also free parking available.
